White radio host suspended after calling Whitney Houston a "Crack-Ho"

A Los Angeles radio station has pulled two popular talk radio hosts off the air for comments they made about Whitney Houston.

KFI AM 640 suspended John Kobylt and Ken Chiampou, the hosts of the "John and Ken Show," for "making insensitive and inappropriate comments about the late Whitney Houston," it said in a statement Thursday.

"Management does not condone, support or tolerate statements of this kind," the station said.

According to audio posted online at UrbanInformer.com, the hosts called the late singer a "crack ho" and said she was "cracked out for 20 years."

Kobylt said in statement that he and Chiampou "used language that was inappropriate" and they "sincerely apologize" to their listeners and to Houston's family.

Whitney Houston Album Sales Soar In Wake Of Death

As expected Whitney's death is giving way to a posthumous sales surge, similar to those seen following the deaths of Michael Jackson and Amy Winehouse in recent years.

On Amazon, 7 of the top 10 albums are Houston's -- her greatest hits collection, "The Bodyguard" and "Preacher's Wife" soundtracks among them -- and 20 of the top 100 iTunes song downloads belong to Houston tracks as well.

On the Billboard charts, 6 of Houston's albums cracked the Top 200, and her "Greatest Hits" collection broke into the Top 10. Billboard reported that 101,000 Houston albums were purchased in the last week, more than were sold in all of 2011 and 2012 combined. Insiders expect Houston's music to surge on the charts even more next week.

Since album sales in the wake of an artist's death always tend to increase, Sony came under fire for raising prices on Houston's music in the UK last weekend. Fans were up in arms over a sudden iTunes price hike of two Houston albums, which Sony is now saying was a "mistake."

“Whitney Houston product was mistakenly mispriced on the U.K. iTunes store on Sunday,” The New York Times reported a statement by Sony as saying. “When discovered, the mistake was immediately corrected. We apologize for any offense caused.”

The price hikes occurred on Sunday, the day after her death was reported, when Houston's "The Ultimate Collection" was raised 60 percent, from $7.85 to about $12.50, and her "Greatest Hits" rose from $12.50 to $15.67.

The Times spoke with Sony executives who asked to remain anonymous, but chalked the mistake up to a "Sony employee in Britain" who made the error without their consent.

Fire officials say an electric cigarette exploded in a Florida man's mouth, severely burning his face and knocking out some of his front teeth.

North Bay Fire Department Division Chief Joseph Parker says it appears the cigarette's battery exploded while the man was smoking Monday night. Parker likened it to a bottle rocket going off in the man's mouth. He also lost part of his tongue.

Parker says the man had been using electric cigarettes to help him stop smoking (maybe Nicorette would have been a better choice).

Authorities don't know what model cigarette it was.

The victim is being treated at a Mobile, Ala., burn unit.

If this isn't proof positive of the dangers of smoking...I don't know what is!

Is being transgender a selfish act?

I came across this article in which a transgender woman offers an interesting take on transitioning.

When one makes the commitment to transition the thought of how it not only affect you but the ones you love...is very often in your forethought's. The thought of bringing shame and embarrassment to loved ones is often so debilitating many see not transitioning or suicide as a more viable option.

Once you've made the decision to look past the discomfort of others and live the life that you desire....there is a huge measure of selfishness accompanied with doing so.

The first eighteen to twenty-four months of transition for the transgender person can be an awkward period of appearance, very similar to puberty.

It is during this timeframe that a "self-centered" person in transition would indeed not take family and friends into consideration, to allow time to adjust and accept this new exterior.

It's common for the person in transition to feel as if they have finally exited "the cave" and now that they have finally accepted themselves, they want the world to accept them, too.

However, just as it took years for the person in transition to accept themselves, they must also give family and friends a reasonable amount of time for adjustment. Expecting anything else could be perceived as very self-centered and selfish of the transgender person.

The transition process for a transgender person is a very isolating time, and is a period of not only self-discovery, but of rediscovering the relationships with the people in their lives. It is very common for family and friends to turn their backs on this person, leaving them isolated and alone.

The human condition is resistant to change. There is a tendency to fight the correct course of action, even though we know it must be taken, until the pain of not changing becomes greater than the fear of making that change.

It is at this tipping point, when a transgender person's pain of not being their real selves finally becomes greater than the fear of losing everyone and everything they have; such as their family, their friends, their job, acceptance by society, etc.

Often the person in transition contemplates whether or not they have done the right thing and are at a much higher risk of suicide during this phase. Their traditional support systems are gone and they feel they have no where to turn.

Ironically, those who reject the transitioning transgender person often feel their decision was a selfish act.
Could it not be said that it is the person who rejected the transitioning person whom is actually the selfish one? The one who is more concerned about what society's view of them will be for being associated with the person in transition, rather than the mental and physical health of the person they once called family or friend.

Janet speaks on Whitney's death

The normally reclusive star weighed in on the death of her contemporary.

When Janet Jackson heard the news of Whitney Houston's death she says, "Immediately I started shaking. I was trying to text everyone that I knew to let them know and I was speechless. I could not believe it."
Jackson tells Anderson Cooper on his Monday show that it is "still such a shock."

She recalls connecting with Houston in the early '80s and early '90s the most. "It doesn't matter if we were doing an awards show. We would always take the time out to find one another. Either she'd come to my dressing room to say hey and I'd be in makeup or I'd find her in her dressing room to say hey, we always found time to talk to one another. She was such a sweet soul."

Jackson tells Cooper she knows the death is "devastating," especially to Houston's daughter, Bobbi Kristina.
"I lost my brother, she lost her mother. There's still a difference, even though there's a still a loss to a family, I don't know what that's like being so young. It was hard for me. It was very, very difficult for me. I didn't want to accept it, it's very difficult. You have to come to terms at some point, you have to actually give it up to God and it sounds so mean but you have to move on you can't hold onto that because it can be very devastating. Sometimes therapy is the best thing."
Although life goes on, says Jackson, "There's never a day, not one day has gone by where I don't think about my brother ..."

Brown, 43, was performing a show at the Landers Center in Southaven, Mississippi, as part of the New Edition reunion tour.

He took a moment on stage to remember Houston, who he had been married to for 15 years.

After word of Whitney's death emerged late yesterday afternoon....we knew it would only be a matter of time before theories began to emerge as to how she died.

Here's what TMZ is reporting:

Whitney Houston was taking Xanax ... evidence she may have fallen asleep in the bathtub where she died ... TMZ has learned.

Family members of Whitney tell us the singer had a prescription for the drug, which is commonly used to treat anxiety and depression. We told you yesterday ... the night before Whitney died, she had been drinking a lot.Xanax mixed with alcohol can cause severe sedation, which could cause someone to fall asleep in a bathtub.

As TMZ first reported, Whitney was found in the bathtub and removed before EMTs arrived. The L.A. County Coroner will perform an autopsy -- possibly today -- to determine if Whitney died from drowning, and OD or other causes.

As we previously reported, Beverly Hills cops obtained a search warrant and found various prescription bottles -- but, as far as we know, no illicit drugs.

Whitney Houston was found in the bathtub of a Beverly Hills hotel yesterday ... with her face underwater ... people close to Whitney tell TMZ.
According to our sources, her stylist, hairdresser and two bodyguards were among the people in the room at the time. We're told they became worried about Whitney because she had been in the bathroom for over an hour and it was time to start getting ready for the Clive Davis party.
Our sources say they began to knock on the door and there was no answer. We're told the hairdresser, who is female, went in to check on Whitney. She immediately screamed and, according to our sources, one of the bodyguards came running in and pulled her out of the tub.
We're told Whitney's face was below the water and her legs were up ... like she had slid down the back of the tub. According to our sources, her body was very cold and the bodyguard attempted CPR. That's when hotel security was called. Paramedics arrived shortly thereafter, but Whitney was pronounced dead at 3:55 PM

Do non passable transsexuals have a right to use public bathrooms?

The title of this post is meant to be provocative because this subject is one that is real and needs to be discussed openly and honestly. I often times feel transsexuals can be their own worse enemies; quick to discriminate against the less beautiful or passable within their own sub-sect.

So I decided to write this post to really explore who we are as a community and how we can be more unified, in assuring equal rights for all ( passable or not):

In case you haven't noticed....transsexuals are coming out of the woodwork these days. The days of living in silence and tolerating 2nd class citizenship have passed and the maligned and marginalized are now ready to fight for what belongs to them. No longer willing to dress up at home or acquiesce to societal and gender norms; transsexuals are here and its time for our society to catch up.

Its time for us a society to realize that we are comprised of many different races, creeds, sexual orientations and yes...gender identities.

One of the most basic human functions (I won't go into specifics) can be a daunting task for a gender variant/non-conforming individual. Its almost as if the moment you become transsexual, many expect you to be relegated to a life of adult diapers as they do not want transsexuals to us public facilities.

So much noise is made about which bathrooms transsexuals will use while in public. Usually when "duty" calls....you couldn't give a damn who was standing or sitting next to you.

If you are a female to male transsexual, its not typically a big deal for most guys. Most men have been trained to look straight forward while doing their thing in public, so they barely noticed the person next to them. But for women using the bathroom is an exercise in social grooming.You discuss your kids, your relationship, recipes, etc...etc...

So if you are a male to female transsexual needing to use a women's public bathroom....all hell could potentially break loose for simply having to relieve yourself in the bathroom of your identified gender.

Now lets be honest for a minute...many women have probably already used the bathroom in the presence of a transgender woman and didn't know it because the transsexual was passable and blended effortlessly into background. The true issue is with transsexuals that are perceived to be not passable (Passable: Passing undetected as your chosen gender). The less passable you are....the greater issues you will have in society in general.

When you are less passable, many do not see you as a transsexual, let alone a woman. Therefore you are judged much more critically and seen essentially as a man in a dress and wig trying to sexually exploit women by dressing as a woman to gain access to a very exclusive club (the bathroom). Even tough that is not the case.

Is it fair to penalize someone for simply not being passable? I don't think so...But I know a lot of transsexuals who would agree with discriminating against the less passable. Believing it makes the more passable a target by default. That is a story unto itself that I will have to delve into at a later time.

Using the bathroom is probably the least sexiest act I can think of but so much is being made of the belief that transsexuals being allowed to co-occupy bathrooms with cis-gender women is somehow going to make women more susceptible to sexual predators.

If anything having a transsexual sharing a bathroom might thwart sex crimes. Because chances are a true sexual predator would get his ass handed to him by a transsexual on behalf of themselves as well as a cis-gender woman.

At the end of the day so much in this world is comprised of gender, which isn't really a big deal. Instead of thinking about a transsexual sharing a bathroom with a woman, think of a human sharing a bathroom with another human.

Whitney Houston - 1963 to 2102

Like most of the world today, I am burdened with a heavy heart after hearing of the news about Whitney Houston. I found out about the death early yesterday afternoon but decided not to post because about it because it really moved me in a way no other celebrity death has to this point.

Whitney has been an integral part of my life since as far back as I can remember. I can remember being a child with a tape-recorder (yes...I said tape recorder), waiting for "You Give Good Love" to come on the radio, so I could save a piece of Whitney for myself.

I would practice for hours on end, trying to emulate the vocal acrobatics that came so effortlessly to Whitney. While my vocals (to this day) remained substandard, the adulation and respect that I have for Whitney will live on 'til my last breath.

My thoughts and prayers got out to Bobbi Kristina. Having lost my mom...I know 1st hand the sense of loss, anger and helplessness she is feeling in these very early stages. I remember wanting to go to sleep and get a do-over on the day my mom passed. Thinking of all the things I could have done to make that day turn out differently.

Even until this very day...each day is a struggle. Every moment you live and every accomplishment seems less important knowing the person who meant the most to you in the world, is not here to see you grow. But I've learned that my growth is the manifestation of proof positive that my mother was here and that I was loved and continue to be loved. Hopefully Bobbi Kristina will learn the same lesson in time.

You can say what you will about Whitney and her battles...but she is a true DIVA personified.

The judge ruled the restraining order against Brunetta Brown would not be granted due to lack of evidence. Brown insisted in court Friday that she never threatened Corey Eubanks, who has been implicated as an assistant to Oneal Ron Morris, also known as “Duchess.”

D.C. Police have made an arrest in the killing of a transgender person in Northeast.

JaParker Jones was stabbed to death near a bus stop at East Capitol Street and Sycamore Road the evening of Feb. 2.

Surveillance video taken at about 8:30 p.m. showed a man walking calmly across East Capitol Street away from the bus stop.

Police said they have found no evidence that the assault was related to Jones’s sexual identity and that the motive for the attack is unclear.

Gary N. Montgomery of Northeast Washington was arrested Friday afternoon by members of a fugitive task force. Police said it appears that Jones and Montgomery were strangers.

The Rev. Tyrone D. Gordon

A lawsuit filed against St. Luke Community United Methodist Church in Dallas and its former senior pastor, the Rev. Tyrone D. Gordon, portrays the pastoral office of the predominantly African-American church in Southeast Dallas as a hotbed of homosexual harassment.

St. Luke, with 5,000 members, is one of the largest African-American churches in the North Texas Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church, which is also named as a defendant in the lawsuit. St. Luke isn’t one of the six gay-affirming Methodist churches in the Dallas area, but its congregation includes some LGBT members.

The Rev. Zan Holmes, who preceded Gordon’s appointment in 2002 as senior pastor at St. Luke, is a respected civil rights leader. The church is known as a center for community activism, and it has attracted prominent members such as Dallas County Commissioner John Wiley Price and former Dallas Mayor Ron Kirk, a U.S. trade representative appointed by President Barack Obama.

Thus far, church leaders at St. Luke and the North Texas Conference have remained silent about the lawsuit, as has Gordon, who announced his resignation as senior pastor from St. Luke in January to take effect on Wednesday, Feb. 15. On that date Holmes, who has also kept silent, will return as interim minister.
W. Earl Bledsoe, the bishop of the North Texas Conference, released a statement at the time of the resignation noting Gordon gave up his credentials during the investigation of complaints lodged against him by St. Luke church members.

The Rev. Eric Folkerth, pastor of the gay-affirmative Northaven United Methodist Church in Dallas, said in a telephone interview this week that his reaction to the news of the lawsuit was one of “deep sadness and sorrow.” Folkerth said he hopes the controversy will be viewed as a “sexual abuse of authority,” rather than in terms of the sexual orientation involved.

“I am hoping, praying and trusting that hopefully all of this will be dealt with appropriately in the church and in the legal system,” Folkerth said.

The Rev. Cameron Jerrod Greer, 26, who is a graduate student at SMU’s Perkins School of Theology and a pastor ministering at Cockrell Hill United Methodist Church, alleges in the lawsuit, filed on Feb. 3 in 101st District Court in Dallas, that Gordon, 53, sexually harassed him and several other young male members of the church for at least seven years.

In the petition filed by Dallas attorney and St. Luke church member Marilynn Mayse, Greer alleges that in 2003 and 2004, beginning when Greer was 18, Gordon rubbed his penis up against Greer’s buttocks on more than one occasion in front of four other young men who appeared to regard the activity as “normal behavior.”
In another instance, Greer alleges he observed a young man wiping sweat off of Gordon’s body as the pastor stood in his underwear with his pants lowered. Greer, who worked as an audiovisual technician at St. Luke, alleges in the lawsuit that he observed numerous instances of inappropriate behavior by Gordon involving young men.

The incidents often occurred in Gordon’s church office and sometimes between two Sunday services, according to the lawsuit.
Greer also alleges that Gordon invited him to his home in August 2004 when the pastor’s wife was out of town to discuss the young man’s plans to become a Methodist minister. Gordon allegedly prepared one of Greer’s favorite meals, spaghetti, and invited the young man to watch a movie with him. While sitting on the sofa Gordon allegedly moved closer to Greer but was interrupted by the arrival of one of Gordon’s two daughters.

In two other alleged incidents in 2009 and 2010, Greer claims in the lawsuit that, while he was serving as a pastor at First United Methodist Church in Seagoville, he visited Gordon at St. Luke, where Gordon insisted on hugging him and rubbed his penis against him. Greer adds in the petition that he asked Gordon to be a guest preacher at the Seagoville church, and Gordon implied that Greer would have to do “something” for him in return.

The lawsuit alleges that St. Luke church leaders had been informed about complaints of sexual misconduct and sexual harassment made by church employees and members against Gordon as early as 2006, but they took no action. It also claims that church leaders failed to protect Greer and other young men from Gordon’s alleged harassment.

In the lawsuit, Greer explains his delay in lodging complaints against Gordon as part of a process that was required to address the “issues” and to begin a “quest toward healing.”

The lawsuit, which accuses church officials of breach of duties, claims Greer has suffered “severe emotional distress, mental pain and suffering, and adverse physical consequences, physical pain and suffering.” It seeks unspecified punitive damages.

The lawsuit describes Gordon as a “predator” who used his spiritual authority to “coerce certain young male members and employees” into “sexual acts and relationships for his own personal sexual gratification.”

Gordon, who was born in Los Angeles, received a bachelor’s degree from Bishop College in Dallas, and he did his graduate work at Fuller
Theological Seminary in Pasadena, Calif. He came to St. Luke as senior pastor after serving as senior pastor of St. Mark United Methodist Church in Wichita, Kan.

Last year, the gay and lesbian magazine Out named him "stylemaker of the year" and put him on its cover wearing a bridal veil and flowers in his hair.

Pejic graced the covers of 14 magazines last year alone, including an ad campaign for a Dutch pushup bra. In 2011, he was the face for a fashion line by designer Marc Jacobs. He has walked the runways for heavyweight designers, including John Galliano and Jean Paul Gaultier.

French designer Gaultier was so enamored of Pejic that he used his gender-bending look as a source of inspiration for his 2011 men's and women's wear shows, both of which Pejic modeled in. In the Gaultier men's show, a pistol-packing, bare-chested Pejic wore a sleek black suit as "James Blonde."

That was in stark contrast with the women's show, where Gaultier crowned Pejic with the prized piece in the women's wear collection: a couture bride's dress.

French photographer Sebastien Micke, who has photographed transgender models, says Pejic's femininity is effortless.

"Andrej's got this thing that supermodels have — how to pose in front of the camera," Micke says. "It's just natural."

But life hasn't always been so easy or glamorous for the 20-year-old. Born in Bosnia, Pejic spent much of his childhood living in a Serbian refugee camp before his family fled the country for Australia. He was discovered by a talent scout while working at a McDonald's as a teenager.

From an early age, Pejic exhibited qualities thought of as traditionally feminine, for instance, preferring Barbie dolls over toy cars. As a teenager, he often hung out with girls and was once busted for stealing makeup from a drugstore. Pejic says acceptance from his friends and family made him comfortable in his own skin.

Crystal shocked viewers of ITV's This Morning show on Tuesday by revealing her voracious appetite for sex.
But from an early age she sensed she was a female trapped in a male body a condition known as gender dysphoria.

She began secretly trying on her mum's clothes as a teenage boy and progressed to going on dates in drag.
She realised she yearned "to fully become a woman" and in 2002 began having hormone and laser treatment to remove body hair and develop a 38B bust.

After regular counselling sessions, she went ahead with full gender reassignment surgery offered by the NHS in "serious" cases seven years ago.

She was issued with a Gender Recognition Certificate after the operation, which allowed her to legally change her birth certificate to reflect her new name and sex.

Former shop worker Crystal, of Brighton, East Sussex, has bedded the bulk of her lovers since she took her decision to become a woman. She admitted she had told only a few she was born male. She said:
"I didn't try to hide anything but I wasn't specifically asked about my past or the fact I wasn't fully a woman for some of that time.

I've slept with lots of men who may have been married or had a girlfriend or been to prison, but they didn't tell me about those aspects of their lives.
I slept with a hell of a lot of men before my operation but once I had the body I'd always wanted my sex drive went crazy.
I was sleeping with up to seven men a day and even now I can't go more than 24 hours without sex.
About three months after my surgery I went to a swingers' party and had sex with ten different men.
And when I was running a snack bar at a golf club just outside Brighton I would lock the cabin door and have sex with customers I got friendly with. Some of the women golfers didn't like me much.

I did sometimes feel bad when I found out some men were in relationships. But I was single and wasn't cheating on anybody."
She added: "I no longer refer to myself as a post-op transsexual because I needed to put that label behind me to move on.
"I haven't come as far as I have to be reminded all the time.
"Having this secret has held me back in the past but now it's out I feel I can take on the world. I think about sex all day." Crystal kept quiet about her male past when she first revealed her sex addiction in another newspaper, which compared her obsession to the theme of new movie Shame.
The story was taken up by This Morning. But as she talked to hosts Eamonn Holmes and Holly Willoughby, viewers gasped when Holmes casually suggested she might as well make a living by charging for sex like a prostitute.
The remark triggered a storm of protest on the internet. And Crystal told The Sun: "I was stunned that he came out with that on live TV." The 6ft brunette went on to describe how her parents must have realised her gender dilemma from the time she was a small boy. She said: "My dad bought me a skirt for my fourth birthday.
"When I was a teenager and my parents went out shopping I would stay at home so I could try on my mum's clothes.

"One day when I was 14 I was at the swimming pool with my mum and feeling very depressed and she just told me, 'Don't worry, I know what's going on. You're not gay you're just not in the right body'." Crystal left her home town of Bridgwater, Somerset, at 16 and later began working in clubs in Blackpool.
She said: "I first had sex when I was 17 or 18. I didn't feel it was right because I was in a man's body. But I was at the age when you want to experiment sexually and it was the only way I could.
"All the men I had sex with knew I was born male, though, until after my surgery.
"I met most in bars and clubs on the gay scene. I wasn't gay but they were the only places in which I felt comfortable.

"I was sleeping with a different man every night then and having a brilliant time. But I knew I wanted to fully become a woman so when I moved to Brighton a couple of years later, I started the process of gender reassignment."

Crystal, who now has regular skin treatments to keep her looking good for the younger men she craves, has had two long-term relationships since her operation.
But she puts her preference for casual sex down to witnessing the painful breakdown of her parents' marriage when she was a child.

Gender dysphoria is a condition that can lead to depression, anxiety and even suicide if it is not addressed.
And Crystal said she had spoken out so others finding themselves in a similar situation will take courage and find comfort and encouragement from their nearest and dearest.
She added: "For me, I'm so grateful to my best friend Megan, who has helped me through all this, and my family and friends who have been so supportive."

Top Model contestant Isis King is finding herself at the center of a controversy after a new ad campaign labeling her a boy has the entire trans community in an uproar.

I have every confidence that Isis herself has nothing to do with the campaign but one has to wonder how the producers of the Top Model will allow something like this to slip through the cracks.

I have a hard time believing that the producers of the show don't have any approval or first hand knowledge of ad campaigns used to promote the show. Seeing this exploitative ad makes me wonder what was the true intention when bringing Isis back for the "All Star" season.

Was it really that Tyra and crew believed in her as a model or was it a means of giving the world a second look at a "Boy" ?

I personally would expect more sensitivity as it relates to the LGBT community from a show like Top Model as the show is pretty much a staple in LGBT households. Not only that but considering the number of LGBT employees and staffers within the show itself, one would expect more.

I'm not blaming Tyra...but I'm kinda blaming Tyra.

Isis was never a boy and this campaign is downright disrespectful and egregiously mitigating to the plight of transgender women.

Surveillance footage showing the man who brazenly stabbed a transgender woman in the head at D.C. bus stop has just been released. In hopes that someone will come forward and identify the person responsible for this heinous crime.

Man Dies After Swallowing Dentures During Sex

A 74 year-old man died after he accidentally swallowed his dentures during sex with a 62-year-old prostitute in Taiwan, according to The Asia News Network Star.

The man, known as Chen, had been living with a close female friend in New Taipei City after separating from his wife many years ago.

The prostitute said she had sex with Chen for 30 minutes.

"He fell back onto the bed. His eyes were open but he was not moving. I shook his body and tried to wake him up," said the woman, who called the rescue team.

Two Somerset sisters face up to 40 years in jail for allegedly sexually torturing a teenage male with a pair of pliers and forcing him to drink urine.

Valerie Bartkey, 24, and Amanda Johnson, 17, of Somerset have been charged with second-degree sexual assault by force and misdemeanor counts of battery and damage to property. Johnson is also charged with a misdemeanor count of intimidating a victim. They face up to 40 years in prison if convicted of the sexual assault felony.

The 18-year-old man told police the assault took place on Oct. 1, 2011 in Somerset. According to court documents, the man was tortured with a pair of pliers and threatened with a belt.
He claimed the sisters hit him and then took his shoes and soaked them in the sink and toilet in the bathroom of the residence.

Later, he said they allegedly gave him a glass of what they claimed was lemonade and forced him to drink it. He claimed the liquid turned out to be urine from the sisters.
Allegedly, they then forced him to remove his clothes and threatened him with pliers and a belt if he didn’t do what they told him.

When the man allegedly refused to have sex with Bartkey, Bartkey reportedly pulled and twisted the man’s penis with the pliers while Johnson slapped the belt on the floor a couple times.
Allegedly, Bartkey’s 4-year-old daughter was in the residence at the time of the incident.

According to the criminal complaint, Johnson reportedly called the man on Oct. 27 threatening that if he didn’t drop the charges she’d tell school and police authorities that he smoked marijuana on Oct. 1. The man denied smoking marijuana but claimed Bartkey and Johnson did.
A court appearance is scheduled for April 12.

Transgender woman sues NYPD after being arrested for using a discount card

a trasnsgender woman is at odds with the NYPD after finding herself on the wrong side of the law.

Temmie Breslauer is alleging that after a failed attempt at using her fathers discount fare card she was apprehended and the nightmare ensued. A night mare that left the transgender woman chained to a bench for a period of 28 hours.

Temmie, who's legal name is Todd affirms that being transgender was the true focus of her arrest and not the discount card.

According to the lawsuit (below), as soon as Breslauer entered the precinct station house, an African American desk sergeant asked plaintiff whether she had a penis or a vagina, adding, "Have you had the surgery DOWN THERE?" The desk sergeant told Breslauer she needed this information because she needed to know "what to do with you." Breslauer showed her a note from her doctor explaining that she is undergoing a gender change and should be "allowed access to facilities... appropriate to her gender identity."

Instead, Breslauer claims she was "painfully chained to a fence wherein, for no apparent reason, her arm was lifted over her head and attached to the fence to make it appear that she was raising her hand in the classroom. She sat there in that position for 28 hours." While others were processed and given a desk appearance ticket in a timely manner, Breslauer says she was detained for over a day "to punish her for not revealing the state of her genitalia." It gets worse. The lawsuit alleges:

The police officers in the precinct acted with puerility and disgrace, making insulting remarks continually through this period. In addition to the snickering desk sergeant who disdainfully asked plaintiff not her gender but her genitalia, various other officers said things such as "He-She", "What are you supposed to be?" "Faggot," " Lady GaGa", "Transvestite." Officer Bryant said, "So you like to suck dick? Or what?" "Is it Halloween?" one John Doe said.

The officers refused to refer to her by her preferred gender. She was continually referred to as “he,” “sir” and more often, “buddy,” a semi-derisive name like “lady” that the police typically use with men. 21. Plaintiff was deliberately placed six feet in front of the male holding tank, where men, six feet away acted as belligerently as the police officers. She was, at various intervals throughout the evening, taunted, propositioned and targeted with sundry projectiles, like crumpled paper balls and soda cans.

Transgender Woman Stabbed At DC Bus Stop

A transgender woman was stabbed in the head at a bus stop in the 4100 block of East Capitol St. NE on Thursday night.

According to MPD, the stabbing took place at 8:17 p.m.

Dan Stessel with Metro Transit said the stabbing happened at the bus stop on East Capitol St NE and Sycamore Rd. NE. Passersby flagged down a Metro Transit Police oficer who aided the victim. The officer, as well as arriving MPD officers, thought the victim was a woman.

The victim was taken to PG Hospital Center in grave condition. Stessel, quoting Metro Transit investigators, said the victim was placed on the operating table, and was discovered to be a man.

There is no motive for the stabbing at this time. The suspect is a black male in his 40's with a black and white striped hat and a black coat.

This is especially troubling considering the fact that there several shooting this past summer involving transgender women in the DC area.

The six-minute "tutorial" entitled Be Yourself depicts five young men as they try to "convert" a Western-dressed, long-haired and effeminate man to using more masculine behaviour. At the end of the footage, they thank Allah for helping bring about the "change".
"Views about the LGBT community tend to be very negative in our society, which reflects on the attitudes and policies coming from the government," Abdullah Alz, spokesman for the network Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transsexual Rights UAE (LGBT UAE), told International Business Times UK.
The scientific community in the Arab world also does not support the rights of gay people, he added.
"The LGBT UAE community has no proper outlets to dispel myths and misconceptions about gay people, but we are using social media and the internet to help us challenge and change those beliefs," Alz said.

Don Cornelius, the founder of Soul Train, has died of an apparent suicide, reports TMZ.

Police discovered Cornelius in his Sherman Oaks, CA home last night around 4 a.m. Apparently, he was dead from a self inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

Fresh off his stint on ABC's "Dancing With The Star's, Chaz is said to be actively courting the big wigs over at ABC, in hopes of becoming the next Bachelor.

Chaz definitely pushed the envelope by being the 1st transgender contestant to appear on the ABC juggernaut. But is primetime ready to see a transsexual male in a dating show?

One thing is for certain....it will certainly be the most talked about show on television, if it were to happen.

Chaz Bono's been having a rough go at it in the dating scene. Since splitting with fiance Jennifer Elia in December, Cher's transgender son has been looking for love and coming up empty. While sources say that he's been out on a few dates with some "lipstick lesbians," Chaz is thinking of taking a more active approach with his love life … by starring in a Bachelor-like reality series!

According to a source, producers have approached him about doing a dating-type show and "he is all for it," but Cher is advising him against the idea. Supposedly, she's afraid her son has become obsessed with being a "celebrity" and she is afraid that being on a reality show like this will just end in heartache and embarrassment.
Valid concerns — but he should still do it. And he should be the ACTUAL Bachelor, not on a show like it. It's time to make America be more accepting of transgender people. If he can dance with the stars, he can find love on TV too!

Boy knifed in school for not being "black" enough!

When one student stabbed 12-year-old Ryan Rodriguez in the back with a pencil and walked away, Ryan didn't have to ask for a reason why. He already knew: his race, the Connecticut Post reports. The boy's mother, Gail Rodriguez, told the paper that her son, who is half white and half Puerto Rican, was often bullied for not being "black enough," and that other students teased him, calling him things like "stupid white cracker."

The bullying at the Engineering and Science University Magnet School in New Haven, Conn., was more than physical assault. The Post reports that students would also steal Ryan's belongings and break his binders. When his mother complained, however, teachers allegedly said they would have to catch the students in the act in order to take punitive action.

"I called the school. I called the bus company," Rodriguez told the paper. "I called the Board of Education. I even called the police. Everyone seemed to want to pass the buck."

In the meantime, Ryan developed such extreme anxiety that Rodriguez decided to put him back in public school, despite the lack of advanced engineering classes. The family is now looking for a discrimination lawyer to file a complaint against the New Haven Board of Education for gross negligence.

Unfortunately, Ryan's case is not an isolated incident. A report by Agence France-Presse shows that 54 percent of Asian American teenagers say they were bullied at school, compared to 31.3 percent of white students, 38.4 percent of black students, and 34.3 percent of Hispanic students.

"This data is absolutely unacceptable and it must change," U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan said a a Center for American Progress forum. "Our children have to be able to go to school free of fear."
Ryan's district also isn't the only one to face a lawsuit for discrimination. Last year, the McGehee Secondary School southeast of Little Rock, Ark., garnered national criticism after allegedly denying 18-year-old Kymberly Wimberly status as valedictorian because she is black.

Transsexuals not allowed to board flights from Canada?

If you are a transsexual and you have plans to visit our neighbors to the north, you may want to make sure you have all of your credentials in order.

There is a disturbing new section in the Identity Screening Regulations used in airports throughout Canada. Simply put, Transgender People are Completely Banned From Boarding Airplanes in Canada.

The offending section of the regulations reads:

5.2 (1) An air carrier shall not transport a passenger if …
(c) the passenger does not appear to be of the gender indicated on the identification he or she presents;

Although this obviously discriminatory smear of regulation did not come to significant public attention until very recently, it apparently came into effect on July 27th, 2011.

It is important to note that these regulations are not actually a piece of legislation, which would have had to pass through readings and votes in the House and Senate (which is probably why it went unnoticed until now). It is interesting to note that this regulatory adjustment occurred immediately following the federal election in 2011. In the previous parliament, Bill C-389, a bill to amend the Human Rights Code to explicitly enshrine protections against discrimination for transgender people, had successfully passed in the House of Commons, only to die on the Senate floor when Harper declared a Federal Election (thereby dissolving parliament).

Police and U.S. Marshals in Florida have taken a former Bridgeport resident into custody on charges that he used an ax to kill a man, then ate a portion of his victim's brain and one of his eyeballs.

Tyree Lincoln Smith, 35, whose last known address was Atlantic Street in Bridgeport, is charged with killing Angel Gonzalez, whose decomposed body was found on the third floor of an abandoned building at 216 Brooks St. in Bridgeport on Jan. 20.

Gonzalez suffered significant wounds to his face and head, and there was blood spattered on a nearby wall, police said.

Former Pro Wrestler Sentenced To 32 Years For Infecting Women With H.I.V.

A former professional wrestler was sentenced on Monday to 32 years in prison in the US for having sex with women without telling them he had tested positive for the virus that causes Aids.

Andre Davis, 29, was sentenced on 14 counts of felonious assault. Davis, who wrestled using stage names including Gangsta of Love and Sweet Sexy Sensation, was convicted in November.

Prosecutors had said Davis violated state law by not telling a dozen sex partners about his HIV status or lying to them.

Davis told the judge on Monday that he was a “sex addict” and that his addiction grew worse when he lost his dream of becoming a professional wrestler after getting the HIV test results.

He said sex addiction is probably the worst addiction anyone could have.

“Drugs and alcohol are terrible, but sex is something everybody wants,” he said.

Davis, who said he didn't disclose his HIV test results because he didn't want his family to know, said he never intended to hurt anyone. “I am not a monster,” he said.

Assistant prosecutor Amy Tranter had argued during trial that Davis should go to prison for a long time, saying the case was about his responsibility to tell the women his test results.

“He's a manipulative man and a liar,” Tranter said on Monday.

Davis' attorney, Greg Cohen, had argued that the state law regarding HIV and felonious assault is poorly written because it doesn't require proof that there has been harm or an attempt to commit harm.

Cohen told the judge that his client was sorry for what he had done and that the women Davis slept with also had some responsibility for choosing to have unprotected sex.

The judge, citing medical privacy laws, had prohibited attorneys from bringing up whether any of the women was infected with the virus, which can be transmitted through unprotected sex.

The Cincinnati Enquirer has reported that World Wrestling Entertainment told Davis in July 2009 that it wouldn't hire him because he failed his physical and tested positive for HIV.

Cohen had noted during the trial that a company, not a doctor, told Davis that he was HIV-positive and that he did not think prosecutors could prove that Davis has HIV. But the state law requires those who test positive for HIV to inform their sex partners of that status and it was not necessary to prove that Davis is HIV-positive, Tranter said.

Cohen told The Associated Press that an appeal will be filed.

He said the constitutionality of the law “is probably going to be raised, and there are some legal issues regarding the admission of certain types of evidence.”

Davis, who could have received over 100 years in prison, faces similar charges in Warren County, north of Cincinnati.

Mans body goes undiscovered in movie theater bathroom for almost an entire week

Five managers at the Cinemark Fort Collins 16 have been placed on administrative leave as the company tries to determine how a man’s body went undetected for five days inside a restroom.“Cinemark is evaluating its opening and closing procedures to determine how this could have taken place and to ensure that it does not happen again,” the company said in a statement Tuesday. “Right now, there are more questions than answers.”

An employee at the theater found the body of George DeGrazio, 66, inside a locked family restroom on Saturday. He had apparently died of heart attack on Jan. 9, the same day his son called Loveland Police to say his father had left home to run some errands and did not return.

Fort Collins Police found DeGrazio’s Nissan Xterra parked in the Cinemark parking on Wednesday and searched the area, but they did not locate him.

Family members want to know why it took so long for his body to be discovered.

"It's just such a simple thing to check the family restroom, the locked door where the vehicle was found at the same property," says DeGrazio's son Dylan.

Zhan told the newspaper that his wife often slapped the baby and clutched him by the neck. However, he thought she was suffering postnatal depression and didn't worry too much.
The court heard that on August 15, 2011 Zhan's mother heard the baby crying. She rushed into the room and found Yaya's penis had already been cut by Xiao Meng with a pair of scissors.
Yaya was sent to hospital immediately. His life was not in danger and he can pee normally after treatment in Shanghai. But doctors said it is almost impossible for him to regain productivity.

Sheriff's deputies said Monday they are investigating a fatal stabbing in which both the victim and the suspect are pre-teenage boys.

The slaying was reported at 1:18 p.m. in the 12500 block of Royal Road just north of the El Cajon city limits near a trailer park, a sheriff's spokesman said. The 12-year-old victim was taken by ambulance to Rady Children's Hospital, where he later died, the spokesman said.

Neighbors said a 10-year-old boy used a sharp object to stab the victim in the chest.
The stabbing comes to a surprise to residents at The Knolls Trailer Park as the boys were really good friends, according to neighbors.

"Little things could set (the suspect) off, liking losing at a video game or getting brushed in a way that he didn't like," said neighbor Derek Gorton. He said the 10-year was on medication.

Homicide detectives were at the stabbing scene and did not release the names of the boys.
Sheriff deputies took the 10-year old suspect to be questioned, but it's not certain whether he'll face any charges. The case is now up to the juvenile justice system.

Corrections officials in Onslow County, Ga., said they think they have solved the mystery of how a man managed to smuggle a .38-caliber handgun into his jail cell: He used his rectum.

According to a news release, the Onslow County Sheriff's Office said the 10-inch-long weapon was found in the jail cell of Michael Leon Ward, following his arrest a day before on drug-related charges during a traffic stop.

5 year old in police custody after stabbing 3 people over juice box!

A five-year old is undergoing evaluation by authorities after he allegedly committed a violent crime inside his own home in Greene County.

The Ruckersville home is less than half a mile from Route 29 in, what neighbors call, a quiet community.The Greene County Sheriff’s Department says that around 3:30 p.m. the five-year old stabbed three people with what they’re calling an “edged object.” It’s unclear if the object was a knife.

Police said they arrested a woman after she bit two children at a bookstore Thursday.

Authorities charged Polly Beltramo, 46, of Palo Alto with felony child abuse. Store co-owner Hotranatha Ajaya said he did not see the incident but was there when it happened.

"Some other woman came up to the lady's little girl and then the girl started running to her mother saying that lady bit me and she had a big – something on her cheek that's red," Ajaya said.

He said while the mother was tending to her daughter, her son was attacked.

Louisville Police say Shawn Smith actually put drugs in the backpacks of his children and sent them to school.

A Cleveland Grand Jury just indicted a woman who calls herself a mother. India Parker admitted she threw out her daughter, but now it appears we may never know what really happened.

Cuyahoga County Prosecutors just filed tampering with evidence and abuse of a corpse charges against Parker.

Investigators have tried desperately to find more about what happened to little Kaliyah Parker or locate her body but so far they have come up empty -- so no murder charges.

The child vanished in 2006, when she was five-years-old. She would be 10 now, but friends and relatives say the child has not been seen in years. We are told India would always make excuses to explain the girl's absence-- saying her daughter was with relatives or social workers.

ABC cancels crossdressing comedy "Work It" after only 2 weeks!

ABC's much maligned "Work It" has been a source of contention between the network and the LGBT community since news of its airing leaked months ago. Since that time ABC has been doing everything in its powers to assure the community (at large) that this is nothing more than a comedy and not intended to reflect the struggles of transgender people.

Well, it appears after months of scrutiny and extremely poor ratings, the network has decided to send "Work It" back to the unemployment line.

Tuesday night's episode drew only 4.9 million viewers, and a dismal 1.5 rating in the coveted 18-49 demo. "Work It" was consistently panned by critics, including HuffPost TV's resident critic Maureen Ryan, who called the cross-dressing comedy, "One of the worst sitcoms of all time."

"Work It" has been widely criticized for its gender politics, but that's not all. In its pilot episode, Amaury Nolasco's character uttered the cringe-worthy line, "I'm Puerto Rican... I'd be great at selling drugs."

Much has unfolded in the day since the “Bathroom Harassment Act” was first introduced in the Tennessee legislature, a bill that would fine transgender people $50 for using bathrooms and dressing rooms.
First, state Sen. Bo Watson (R) has withdrawn his version of the bill. He had introduced it as a courtesy to state Rep. Richard Floyd (R), who represents the same region of Tennessee. In a statement to ThinkProgress, Watson’s communications director explained that “Sen. Watson concluded that there are far more pressing issues facing the state of Tennessee at this time.”

Floyd now stands alone as the sponsor of the bill (HB 2279), which he defended yesterday using incredibly transphobic rhetoric. In no uncertain terms, he explained that he would resort to violence if he ever encountered someone transgender in a dressing room:

FLOYD: I believe if I was standing at a dressing room and my wife or one of my daughters was in the dressing room and a man tried to go in there — I don’t care if he thinks he’s a woman and tries on clothes with them in there — I’d just try to stomp a mudhole in him and then stomp him dry.

Hazel Jones was diagnosed with the "one in a million" condition uterus didelphys when she was 18, after suffering with difficulties from when her periods started at 14.

She had to lose her virginity twice, and also has to have two smear tests, but has decided not to have surgery to correct the condition.

The condition means a woman has two separate uteruses, two vaginas and two cervixes. It happens when a septum which usually breaks down between two tubes that form the uterus does not break down, leaving two uteruses.

Speaking on ITV1's This Morning, Ms Jones, from High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, said nobody realised anything was different about her until her periods started when she was 14.

"That wasn't fun," she told presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield and doctor Dawn Harper, saying she bled from one side then the other.

"It wasn't nice. I had friends and I would try and explain to them, 'I'm having a problem' but they had no idea what I was doing. They looked even more confused than I did.

"If you are not aware that you have got this it can be really uncomfortable, I thought I was having cystitis, I thought I was having urine infections from a young age, when I wasn't. I was actually tearing the middle septum."

She was 18 when her first serious boyfriend noticed something was "different", prompting her to go to hospital where she was diagnosed with the condition.

"They did all the tests and they told me within a couple of hours what it was. But the lady had such a heavy accent I still didn't understand what she was telling me and I just sat there in the waiting room with these notes going, 'I have no idea what I have just been told'.

"As soon as I found out what it was I told everybody! I thought it was amazing. It's definitely an ice-breaker at parties. If women want to have a look, I'm quite happy to show them, it's not something I'm embarrassed by."

She will also have to be careful about getting pregnant - she told This Morning she could get pregnant in one then the other which could lead to problems, and also has an increased risk of breech birth and bleeding.

But she has declined surgery to change the situation, saying: "They offered to remove the septum but I refused to have the surgery.

"They have to treat you like they would a post-op transsexual because if you have something removed from an area like that there's a risk of healing back together. You have to have it separated all the time and it can be very uncomfortable and cause scar tissue."

She said she now has a long-term partner, and her sex life does not suffer because of the condition.

Woman raped in ambulance by paramedic

An American Medical Response paramedic accused of sexually assaulting a patient on Christmas day admitted to police that he fondled the woman's breasts and used his finger to penetrate her, according to the warrant for his arrest.

Mark D. Powell, 49, of North Haven, was charged Thursday with first-degree sexual assault and first-degree unlawful restraint. He posted $25,000 bail and is due in court Jan. 19 in Meriden.

Hamden police began investigating the incident after the woman, who is 22, contacted them Dec. 29. She initially told police she did not remember much about the incident. She had been at a party, was drinking, fell backwards into a mirror and hit her head. She was unconscious when police and an ambulance responded.

She was loaded into an ambulance and taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital. She told police later that she remembered feeling the ambulance employee, who she could only identify as a white man, "forcefully manipulating her breasts with his hands and pinched her nipples, causing pain," The woman said the man then put his hand down the front of her pants and beneath her underwear and digitally penetrated her.

In a statement to police, summarized in the warrant for his arrest, Powell initially denied any inappropriate contact. Gradually, however, he acknowledged touching the woman's breasts, pinching her nipple and placing his hand in her pants and penetrating her as the ambulance headed to the hospital. Powell told police the ambulance's lights and siren were on.

Powell told officers the woman's vagina "became accidentally exposed" and he admitted to officers "he inserted his right middle finger into the female's vagina up to the first knuckle," the warrant reads. Powell said he manipulated the woman's vagina for about five seconds and showed them that he moved his finger up and down.

"Powell demonstrated this a number of times and at one point stated 'I just diddled it,'" the warrant states.

He also admitted that the woman's breast became exposed and that "he did pinch the female's left breast nipple to apply pain stimuli," according to the warrant.

Powell told police he had seen nurses use pain stimuli on patients' nipples in a hospital, but said "he knew it was not an appropriate technique."

"Powell expressed remorse for what he had done, [said] he had made a mistake and a serious lapse in judgment," according to the warrant. He also told police he had never done anything like that before.

Oscar-nominated Hollywood director David O. Russell has been accused of groping his teenage transgender niece.

"The Fighter" director admits touching his 19-year-old niece's breasts at a gym in Deerfield Beach, Fla., but claims that she gave consent, The Smoking Gun reported.
Nicholas Peloquin, who is in the preoperative phase of her transition to becoming a man, filed a police report three days after the Dec. 30 incident.

In it, Peloquin -- who also goes by the first name Nicole -- said she and her uncle were doing abdominal exercises when he asked questions about her sex change.
She said that when she told him about hormones she was taking to increase her breast size, he "put his hands under [her] top and felt both breasts."

A woman accused of damaging a painting at the Clyfford Still Museum in Denver has been formally charged with criminal mischief.

Denver District Attorney Mitch Morrissey claims Carmen Tisch visited the museum Dec. 29, 2011 at about 3:30 p.m. There, she allegedly approached a painting and proceeded to scratch, hit and lean against the painting.

According to the Denver Police report, Tisch then pulled down her pants while leaning against the painting and urinated as she sat on the floor. It is unknown whether any urine got on the painting.

In Lexington, North Carolina Michael Anthony Fuller, 53-years-old tried to use a fake $1 million bill at the Lowes Boulevard Walmart to pay for his merchandise on November 17, 2011.

The customer, Michael Fuller stood at check-out in Walmart trying to buy a vacuum cleaner and a microwave oven and some other random products which totaled $476. He handed the cashier the fake $1 million bill and awaited his change. The cashier was able to spot it was a fake because the US government hasn’t printed anything larger than $100 bill since 1969.

Wal-mart called police while the 53-year-old Michael Anthony Fuller waited around as if he would be able to convince the police that it was a real $1 million bill. The police officer that responded to the call wrote, “There is no such thing,” referring to the fake one million dollar bill.

Fuller was arrested and charged with, “Attempting to obtain property by false pretense and uttering a forged instrument,” which are both felonies. He is being held at the Davidson County Jail with his bond set at $17,500.

These were the words of a 32-year-old woman who alleged that she was sexually assaulted by a pastor at Omanjor near Sowutuom, a suburb of Accra.

The pastor, Stephen Addy-Powell of Crown Miracle International Ministries, Omanjor, was therefore arrested by the Sowutuom Police to assist in their investigations. According to the victim, the incident happened on the afternoon of April 15, 2011.

“I was in the house that afternoon when I heard somebody banging on our main gate, so I rushed to see who that person was. She said when she went to open the gate she saw Pastor Stephen Addy Powell holding a Bible together with two others.

“Pastor introduced himself as a man of God, and also founder and leader of Crown Miracle International Ministries Omanjor and that he had a message for me. So I ushered him into my sitting room.
“He then asked his friends to excuse us by going out while he told me the confidential message.

“He said God had revealed to him that I had been engaged spiritually by some evil spirits. He said if we did not pray to break that evil bond I could neither marry nor have a child,” the lady told the police.

She stated that they started to pray about it, and in the process, Pastor Stephen Addy asked her to promise him that she would do anything she was asked to do which she accepted. The woman alleged that after some moments of prayer inside her sitting room, the pastor lifted her dress, removed her panties and started to lick her vagina.
“He licked me for quite a long period before concluding the prayers,” she said.

The complainant said after Pastor Addy had left with his colleagues, she became afraid of the actions of the pastor and so reported the incident to her church pastor.

“Some family members also asked me to report the matter to the police but because I had no evidence, I intentionally called Pastor Stephen on the phone to question him about the consequences of his licking my vagina.

“I also asked why he licked my vagina and then he confessed that he loved me and wanted me to be his wife.”

After the conversation, the victim averred that a formal report was lodged to the Sowutuom police where Pastor Stephen Addy was arrested.
Confirming the story, the Crime Officer of the Odorkor District Police Command, Superintendent Barfour Apenteng indicated that 31-year-old pastor Stephen Addy was indeed arrested by the police for questioning.
“Our investigations indicate that the pastor actually committed the act and so a charge of indecent assault had been leveled against him,” the police said.

He maintained that when an earlier recording was played to Pastor Addy, he got confused and then confessed to having committed the act, but said he wanted the girl as a friend. The Odorkor crime officer stated that investigations also revealed that the pastor is married with an eight-month-old baby.
“He would be arraigned before court soon,” he added.

A babysitter and trusted neighbor has confessed that he bludgeoned a 9-year-old Indiana girl to death with a brick then dismembered her, hiding her head, hands and feet at a home where he was staying and dumping the rest of her remains nearby, police said Tuesday.

Allen County sheriff's investigators said in an affidavit that 39-year-old Michael Plumadore admits he killed Aliahna Lemmon on Thursday.

According to the affidavit, Plumadore told police that after beating Aliahna to death on the front steps of the home in the early morning hours, he stuffed her body into trash bags and hid her in the freezer at the home in a rundown trailer park in Fort Wayne. He said he later chopped up her body with a hacksaw and stuffed her remains into freezer bags.

Police say the men had been arrested Nov. 30 on cocaine trafficking charges. Officers say while the brothers were in the back of a patrol car, they discussed eating cocaine.
Police say Deangelo Mitchell had been released on bail before they discovered he had a role in his brother's death.

At a Monday news conference, local officials said they plan to charge Deangelo with manslaughter in connection with his brother's death.

Woman loses eye in her Vagina

A doctor who was presented with an odd complaint - the patient had an "eye in the vagina".

This was what Dr Melissa Barton read when she picked up a medical chart of a patient while doing her rounds.

The patient told her that she had inserted the eye up there herself for "safe keeping".

Apparently, the patient had been expecting a fight with some neighbours outside her house. However, she was wearing only a sweatshirt and spandex pants, and had no safe place to stow her prosthetic eye away.

So she inserted the eye and her driver's license up her vagina, explaining to the shocked doctor that "those things (the eye) are pretty expensive and hard to replace."

Dr Gart Vilke had a more amazing story for the news channel. The professor of clinical emergency medicine at the University of California San Diego Medical Center said he once saw a man who had four Barbie doll heads stuck in his rectum.

The doctor described the heads as they appeared in the X-ray as resembling a "totem pole".

I'm thinking: If you already have one glass eye....maybe fighting isn't your thing?

Jerome Isaac, who allegedly doused Deloris Gillespie in a flammable liquid and set her on fire in an elevator, said nothing in court during his arraignment Monday. Meanwhile, family and friends continued to mourn the unthinkable loss of their loved one.

Isaac, 47, was ordered held without bail. Isaac’s attorney asked the court to keep him in solitary confinement, and also to receive medical attention for the extensive burns on the left side of his face.

A search that began on craigslist.org has led Selina Hodge to a Miami operating room. Hodge, 28, posted a plea online in July, looking for someone -- anyone -- to donate a kidney.
"That's when I turned to Craigslist, because I didn't know where else to turn to," Hodge said, adding that the first few responses arrived this summer.

Hodge received more than 800 responses from around the world -- one of which came from a woman who lives just miles away from her Palm Beach Gardens home.
"It just amazes me that somebody would actually lay down their life for a complete stranger," said Gina Evans, Hodge's mother.

A Southern California teenager has been sentenced to 21 years in state prison for killing a gay student during a computer lab class three years ago.

Brandon McInerney didn't speak on Monday but his attorney said his client is deeply remorseful for the murder of 15-year-old Larry King. The victim's family said they couldn't forgive their son's killer.

In a deal reached with Ventura County prosecutors last month, McInerney agreed to avoid a retrial and plead guilty to second-degree murder, as well as one count each of voluntary manslaughter and use of a firearm.

A mistrial was declared in September when jurors couldn't reach an unanimous decision on the degree of guilt.

The trial was moved from Ventura County to Los Angeles because of pretrial publicity.

Wadzanai Marimo, 34, admitted the assault of one of her regular clients, Brian Shumba, 38, at Gweru Magistrate's Court on Tuesday.

According to police, the pair had been drinking together at a nightclub in Gweru, central Zimbabwe, on Monday night before going back to Miss Marimo's house.

In the bedroom, a dispute broke out after Mr Shumba allegedly refused to pay Miss Marimbo for her services, magistrate Florence Nago heard.

Yyesterday she was handed an 18 month prison sentence which was suspended on the condition that she perform 420 hours of community service.

Sources say it started back in October. Facing jailtime, Hilliard agreed to take part in a drug sting for Madison Heights Police. The deal went down and officers arrested their man -- Qasim Raqib.

Raqib allegedly knew right away it was Hilliard who set him up. He posted bond and reportedly wanted revenge.

He allegedly bought a cell phone and lured her to an address on Longfellow in Detroit . It was a cab driver who dropped her off and stayed on the phone with Hilliard because she felt unsafe. He heard her cries for help, but by the time he made his way back, Hilliard and the man she met were gone. That was 1:30 in the morning on October 23rd. Three hours later a burned torso was discovered on Bewick near I-94.

Family hoped she was missing, but weeks later her body was identified and they learned of her vicous killing.

"It really hurts because everytime I look at her picture or something, I don't know what to do with that. It still hasn't hit me yet," said Brandie Brown, the victim's sister.
